Vehicles, where the registeration has lapsed by more than 3 months, or vehicles from interstate and overseas, require a safety and ID inspections known as Blue slip, for these type of inspection, the owner must supply a copy of registration paper/s, (interstate or overseas if applicable) and proof of address in NSW. (Telephone bill, drivers licence, letter etc.) We need to these keep copies, (RTA requirement) for records, (the owner has to supply these photocopies).

These are standard RTA set fees:
+$50.30 for vehicles registered within Australia. (Interstate vehicles or vehicles unregistered for longer than 3 months).This type of check will take 1 hour. Approx.
+$116.80 for Imported vehicles. This type of check will take 1-3hrs. Approx. (obtaining compliance plates will take up to 7 working days).
+$22.80 for identity check. eg. (Engine change) this type of check will take 25 min. Approx. Motor Cycles $30.60 additional fees apply for modified unique vehicles, where no RTA Data is present.
We No longer supply CTP GREEN SLIP (QBE INSURANCE) as we have terminated our contract with QBE.
There is no GST added for Blue slip inspection.
